Effectively Planning, Tracking & Controlling Projects with Microsoft Project 2010

Categories: MS Project, How To, Screencasts
I had the great opportunity to present a 2 hour webcast for O'Reilly Media a few weeks ago on "Effectively Planning, Tracking & Controlling Projects with Microsoft Project 2010"

In the presentation, I demonstrated how to leverage Microsoft Project 2010 from initial planning to project closing. In addition, I demonstrated how you properly:

- Define project schedule based on a project start or finish date
- Utilize relevant project calendar
- Identify tasks and dependencies
- Enter task estimates based on duration, work or resource
- Outline resources and specify task assignments
- Track project actuals against project baseline information
- Create relevant reports for stakeholders
- Integrate with SharePoint 2010
- Manage multiple projects with shared resources

Here's the 2-part video recording, Enjoy!
