SharePoint is its own worst enemy, well sorry Microsoft is! Sharepoint is so flexible and change to what anyone wants, and this is it down fall. All of the five points are all linked, I have seen so many sale guys go in and know bits of what sharepoint can do, but don't understand what sharepoint really can do and changed to do. MS can even put text on their web site to explain what SharePoint is. If you listen to the client and then go away and think about what they want to do and how an SharePoint be configured and developed to support this, and what other MS technologies can be combined to make SharePoint do what the client wants. And then before you roll it out train, train and train again and then leave them with training video's and cue cards.
